Rust Eraser

The Sabitoru Rust Eraser (Rough) is an easy-to-use tool and is a must have in every Japanese knife owner's kitchen. The rust eraser is useful for restoring shine and removing patina/rust and stubborn stains from high-carbon blades. All you need to do is wet the rust eraser with water before using it, identify the direction of the "grain" (the grain is the lines you see in the knife steel), and then - following the grain - gently rub the eraser back and forth over the knife.
