The blade is hand made in the famous knife making town of Sanjo, Japan. With over 60 years of experience in handmade knife making Ohishi is known for making extremely sharp handmade tools at large factory prices.
Carbon steel used is famous for having excellent edge retention, ease of sharpening and the ability to take a very fine edge.
