Description

The Ito Stone Holder is a must have for anyone who uses whetstones regularly.

Most stones come with some sort of holder or stand but they really do the job like a real stone holder does.

I love the Shapton cases for protection and storage, but they tend to frustrate me when I'm sharpening.
The Tojiro Sink bridge make such a huge difference to any sharpening experience.

The extra height the holder provides makes it easy to avoid awkward hand positions or brushing your knuckles on the bench.
The Slip resistant base is useful for those low grit stones that require a bit of pressure. This stone holder helps to stop the stone sliding on the wet bench.

*This stone holder DOES NOT fit the Tojiro series Whetstones (If you have these stones just get the Tojiro sinkbridge and your all set).
Also doesn't if into Tojiro Sink Bridge. This is best used with Naniwa Sink Bridge or similar.
Fits stones up to 213mm in length (fits Morihei stones perfect)

Length: 288mm
Width: 70mm
Height: 20mm
Weight: 645g

About Use

Hi, my name is Leigh, and I’m a chef from Newcastle, Australia.

I’ve been cooking professionally for over 20 years in some of Australia’s top restaurants, and I’m currently cooking at The Signal Box in Newcastle.

Over the years (since 2018), I’ve put together a small collection of high-quality Japanese knives and whetstones that I personally recommend. Basically, if I wouldn’t use it in a professional kitchen, I don’t sell it. Read More
