DESCRIPTION
Ohishi Ajikiri (Fish Filleting Knife) Blue Steel #2, Nashiji, 105mm
This stunning range is another refined knife range by Akifusa.
Ohishi is also the name of the small village near the famous Mount Fuji, where the Akifusa business is located.
This range has a Nashiji (pear skin) finish.
All knives by Akifusa are hand sharpened.
The finish on these knifes are some of the best I’ve seen and definitely the best in their price range.
This knife has a smooth D-shaped Ebony wood handle and a Hitachi Blue #2 steel core with steel cladding.
All Ohishi knives are also extremely well made. From “the looks” to the quality of material, workmanship, all the way down to how it feels in your hand.
Up until now no one has been able offer these knives in Australia.
I am proud to be able to offer these knives to Newcastle and Australians.
*The steel in this knife is subject to corrosion, so be sure to follow knife care instructions to help avoid surface rust
(rust is iron oxide Fe2O3 and is harmless to the body.)
